About Pleasure Revolution.
An Open, Informed & Professional Approach

What Is Pleasure Revolution?

The name Pleasure Revolution reflects a simple belief: pleasure is a positive part of human life and should not automatically be treated as shameful, selfish or something that must remain hidden.

Conversations about sexual and sensual pleasure are often shaped by embarrassment, secrecy and misinformation. Pleasure Revolution supports a more open and informed approach based on personal choice, body confidence, communication, consent and mutual respect.

This is not about telling people how they should experience pleasure. It is about making reliable information, responsible professional support and opportunities for exploration easier to find.

Why Pleasure Revolution Was Created

Finding professional support around intimacy, pleasure and sexuality can be surprisingly difficult.

Information is often fragmented, services may be described using unfamiliar or overlapping terminology, and it is not always easy to distinguish experienced, responsible practitioners from those offering something less professional.

The wider adult-services landscape can sometimes feel like the Wild West, while other spaces may appear inaccessible, overly spiritual or difficult for newcomers to understand. Between those extremes are many thoughtful and experienced professionals doing valuable work—but finding them can take considerable time and confidence.

Pleasure Revolution was created to provide a more grounded and trustworthy place to begin.

What We Aim to Do

Pleasure Revolution aims to:

  • Make responsible and experienced professionals easier to discover

  • Explain different services and approaches in clear, accessible language

  • Help people make informed choices about who they work with

  • Encourage consent-led, ethical and professional practice

  • Challenge unnecessary shame and misinformation around pleasure

  • Share grounded articles about intimacy, relationships and sexual wellbeing

  • Promote relevant workshops, gatherings and educational events

The professionals featured may work through therapy, coaching, education, movement, touch, massage, embodiment, pelvic health, tantra, kink or practical intimacy skills. Their approaches can be very different, but clear communication, consent, respect and honest descriptions of what they offer should provide shared foundations.

Who Is Pleasure Revolution For?

Pleasure Revolution is for adults of all genders, sexual orientations, relationship styles, bodies and levels of experience.

You might be looking for help with a particular concern, wanting to understand yourself or your relationship more deeply, curious about a new experience or simply interested in learning more about pleasure and intimacy.

You do not need to arrive feeling confident or knowing exactly what type of professional you require. The site is designed to help you understand the available options and find an approach that feels right for you.

Individual professionals may choose to work with particular groups or specialise in specific needs. Not every practitioner will be right for every person, but our aim is to build a varied and inclusive directory in which more people can find someone suitable.

A Message from Jools

I created Pleasure Revolution after seeing through my work with Sensual Bodyworks how meaningful a safe, respectful and well-managed experience can be.

As a sensual masseur and trainer, I have worked with women, men and couples with very different backgrounds, needs and levels of confidence. I have also spoken with many people who struggled to find the right professional or simply did not know where to begin.

At the same time, I have met skilled and thoughtful practitioners whose work deserves to be better understood and easier to find.

Pleasure Revolution grew from those experiences. My aim is not to prescribe one correct way of working or exploring. It is to create a professional, substantial and accessible resource where responsible practitioners can be discovered and people can make their own informed choices.

I believe pleasure is good. It can support confidence, connection, curiosity and wellbeing—and it should be possible to talk about it without shame, pressure or pretence.
